Information for Potential Cheerleaders for 2021-22 Year

 

Important Dates:

  • Cheer Informational Meeting: Presentation online

  • Cheer Packets Due: February 23 (Senior Campus at front desk)

  • Tryout Clinic: March 8, 9, 10 (TWHS Main Campus)

    • Current freshmen, sophomores and juniors: 3:30 - 5:00 PM

    • Current 8th graders: 4:30 - 6:00 PM

  • Tryouts: March 11, 3 PM - 8 PM (Estimated Times below)

    • Mascots - 3:00-3:45pm

    • Incoming Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors - 3:45-5:45pm

    • Incoming Freshmen - 5:45-8:00pm

       *Results posted March 12 at 4 PM, front of school and twhscheer.com

  • New Cheerleader Parent Meeting: March 25 at 6:00 PM (MANDATORY FOR ALL INCOMING CHEERLEADERS)

  • Fittings: March 31 (times to be distributed for each squad)

  • Cheer Camp at Texas A&M (College Station): July 26-29, 2021

  • Lil’ Cheer Camp at Mitchell Int. (mandatory): June 2 - 4, 2021

If your child makes the squad, at the initial fitting, you will need to bring 2 checks:

  • Camp (made payable to TWHS Cheer) - ~$425

  • Barefoot Outfitters - ~$250
